Determine your Adobe software license type.

  Find answers to common issues when activating or deactivating Adobe apps. Activation, or sign in, connects an app to a valid user license. To resolve the trial or license expired error, try the following solutions in If you choose a profile that does not have the licences.

A volume license allows multiple users to access Adobe software simultaneously. Did you personally buy the Adobe product you're using? How can I tell if I'm using a volume license product? Run the appropriate uninstaller to remove the application producing the invalid serial number error first, and then run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Uninstall the application.

For Creative Suite apps, uninstall the entire Creative Suite, not just a single application. Check the system requirements before downloading and installing the product. In the serial number dialog box, delete the serial number and select I Want To Try. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop app and sign back in using the business or school account after renaming the folder. If the above steps do not resolve the trial or license expired errors, sign in to your Adobe account , go to your plans and click View All on the specific plan.

Verify the email address of the user, and the products assigned. Ensure that you have allowed access to appropriate network endpoints in your environment.
